Terms of Service

Last updated 18 July 2026

Pending legal review. These terms describe how VEDO Studio actually works, written from the system itself. They have not yet been reviewed by a lawyer, and the company identity and governing law below are still marked TODO.

The agreement

These terms are between you and TODO — registered company name and country. By creating an account you accept them.

What the service does

You upload an image and describe what you want. VEDO authors a cinematic concept and renders a short film from it using third-party AI models. Authoring a concept is free; only releasing a render consumes a film from your allowance.

Your account

You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live. Keep your credentials secure — activity under your account is your responsibility. New accounts receive a small number of free films; that allowance is a courtesy and may change.

What you upload

You confirm that, for everything you upload, you either own it or have permission to use it. You must not upload:

We may remove content and suspend accounts that breach this.

Who owns the films

You own the films you generate and may use them commercially. You keep the rights to what you upload; you grant us only the licence needed to run the service — to process your image, generate your film, store it, and show it in Open Cinema if you choose to publish it. Publishing to Open Cinema is always your explicit action and you can return a film to your private Vault at any time.

AI-generated output may not be copyrightable in every country, and we cannot guarantee that a generated film is unique or free of resemblance to other work.

Payment

Subscriptions are billed in advance through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the Call Sheet page; cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep access to the end of the period already paid for. Prices may change with notice before your next renewal.

TODO — the landing page advertises a 30-day return on paid memberships. Whatever refund promise you make publicly must be written here in full, including how to claim it. UK/EU consumers also have statutory cancellation rights that this section needs to address.

Fair use

Your plan’s film allowance is per billing period. Concept authoring is free but rate-limited, because each one costs us a real AI call. Automated or scripted access is not permitted.

When a render fails

You are charged a film only when a render completes successfully. Failed renders cost you nothing. We do not guarantee that any given film will meet your expectations — generative models are not deterministic — and an unsatisfying result is not by itself a failed render.

Availability and liability

The service is provided as-is. We depend on third-party AI providers and cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the previous twelve months. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Ending the agreement

You may close your account at any time from the Call Sheet page. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and will tell you why unless we are legally prevented from doing so.

Governing law

TODO — governing law and the courts that have jurisdiction.
